RETROJECT ATB400 38/38 twin down-draught throttle body.

Designed as a direct replacement/upgrade for the WEBER 32/36 DGV/DGAV and WEBER 38/38 DGAS/DGMS down-draught Carburettor.

Converting your weber carburettor on your classic motor to electronic fuel injection has never been easier thanks to the new twin Weber Retroject Throttle Body.

Essentially, Retroject is a dual injector throttle body designed to directly replace the Weber 32/36 DGV and 38DGAS.

The critical dimensions are identical including the positioning of throttle lever and throttle rotation, so it will be possible to remove a Weber twin choke carb, bolt on this Retroject, add any aftermarket, open-source ECU and wiring loom and a high pressure fuel supply (such as our WFP600 fuel pump kit) or similar.

The use of a swirl pot is recommended to avoid the possibility of fuel starvation.

In doing so you will then have the power, drive-ability, torque and economy of a modern EFI system on your classic car.
It really is as simple as that. No messing about with new throttle linkages, new air filters or new inlet manifolds.
Retroject is supplied complete with 2 x Genuine Weber 480cc/m PICO fuel injectors, TPS, air temperature sensor, idle motor and fuel pressure regulator.

This is a complete, bolt on, EFI solution which comes at a fraction of the cost and complexity of multi throttle bodies.

Our wiring connector pack ATB400CK contains all the connectors required to connect Retroject to your ECU wiring harness.

Retroject is ideal when using a modern engine in a kit car and EFI is needed to comply with modern catalyst requirements.  It will also be ideal for off-road, marine and general classic car use.

Supplied with 8mm screw-in fuel unions, supply and return plus 1 x fuel union blanking plug if fuel return-to-tank is not required.

Our retroject throttle body has 2 fuel injectors (one for each barrel), 1 valve which controls airflow,
1 potentiometer on throttle shaft and 1 air temperature sensor.

Our ATB400CK wiring connector kit – which is offered separately – is designed to connect your ECU/wiring loom wires onto the retroject.

We will be looking into it a little deeper to establish if this can be a suitable option for forced induction.  We think it will be great if it does.  Mechanically, it should replace your 32/36 DGV/DGMS/DGAS 38/38 seamlessly.
