WEBER 40 DCZ/6 + With a little help from Mr Roy Brown of Ireland : )

These little bad boys gave me a headache..

The spindles were rotten and i struggled to find new ones.
And when i did, they came at a pretty penny, plus the pin holes were in all the wrong places.

Pump rod springs were snapped broken, as were the pump rods.

Pump rods i could source, but springs had to be manufactured from new raw wire (Industrial process).

Anyway, thank you to Mr Roy Brown from Ireland who gave me a hand, and together we overcame all the little challenges that old, automotive jewel restorations sometimes throw at you!

Very pleased with the finish, and we hope our customer – and you chaps reading – thinks so too (He’s been waiting for about 6 months!!)
