The WEBER DCOE Carburettor

The Weber DCOE (Doppio corpo orizontale) carburetor was first introduced in the 1960s and quickly became a popular choice for high-performance engines, especially in motorsports.

The carburetor’s design, with two barrels and an open venturi, allowed for a more precise fuel mixture and improved engine performance compared to traditional carburetors of the time.

Weber carburetors were used in various motorsports, including Formula 1, rally racing, and sports car racing, and became known for their durability and performance.

Over the years, Weber continued to improve the DCOE design, including the introduction of larger barrels, adjustable venturis, and other performance-enhancing features.

Today, Weber DCOE carburetors are still used in classic and high-performance engines, as well as in some motorsports applications. The carburetor is widely regarded as one of the most reliable and effective carburetors ever made, and is still manufactured by Weber.
