This plenum fits any American made, 4-barrel carburettor, which has 5-1/8” inch air filter fitment diameter (approximately 130mm).
Please measure your carburettor’s air filter mounting flange diameter to ensure this is suitable for you.
This plenum has a 4-inch (102mm) inlet outside diameter, for clamping an air duct hose onto, which you can then route anywhere on the vehicle and fit an air filter at the end of it. Known as a remote air filter plenum, or snorkel system. Particularly useful when driving off-road, river-crossings, in deep water, where the engine can become submerged. If this plenum, hose and filter are fitted well, and mounted up high, the engine will continue to run even when submerged.
The air hose, air filter and plenum will need clamping together – Use jubilee clips, or similar clasps to secure and seal them all together.
