Description

Genuine WEBER Carburettor Manual Choke Cable Assembly.

Suitable for various Carburettors that utilise a cable to open-close the choke/cold start mechanism.

Approximate length of cable cover outer layer is 1.8 meters.

Inner wire length 1.98 meters.

(72″Inches outer cable length and 78″inches inner wire length).

We do also stock a dashboard mounting bracket kit to help mount it under your dashboard.

The knob is attached to the inner wire, but the inner is removed from the outer cable during the fitting process.

CHOKE CABLE FITTING

The choke cable (19) supplied, utilises a threaded front bezel to assist installation, where it is preferred to mount the choke cable into the facia.

1. Completely remove the inner choke cable and bezel from the outer cable.
2. Insert the choke cable mounting sleeve into the mounting position from the rear of the facia, with the two rectangular mounting plates provided at both sides of the facia.
3. Adjust the rear fixing nut so that approximately 4mm of thread protrudes through the fascia.
4. Refit the bezel and secure the assembly with a 6mm allen key.
