Solex 32 PICB carburettor throttle shaft, throttle valve, screws and spindle bushes.
This is a repair kit.
The throttle shaft is oversized, 8.5mm diameter.
A special reaming tool will be required to open up the carburettor body, to accept this new throttle shaft.
The purpose of this kit is to repair old and worn carburettors, to run as good as new again.
Please note, that this spindle has an extended thread end, meaning the threaded section is longer than the original. Not sure why this is the case, but it won’t affect the use of this spindle on a carburettor, and if preferred, it can be cut shorter.
Also the throttle valve included is for 32mm carburettors, the spindle will most likely suit the 34mm carburettors as well, but obviously not the throttle valve as it will be too small.
The brass bushes are 8mm inside diameter, and they are included in this kit, but their use during the repair is optional.
