WEBER 32/36 DGEV CARBURETTOR CONVERSION KIT FOR CLASSIC MERCEDES BENZ 230, 250 & 280

Full kit with genuine Weber 32/26 DGEV electric choke carburettors to suit Mercedes Benz 2292cc, 2497cc and 2778cc engines.

Suitable for models produced with manual transmission.

There are 2 variants for this kit, 1 variant is to replace the Zenith INAT carburettors and the other variant is to replace the Solex carburettors.

The only difference is the height of the air filter adaptor included in the kit.

The Zenith variation uses adaptor 99900.735 which is 46mm tall, the Solex kit uses 99900.313 which is taller.

Note: This kit suits 2292cc, 2497cc and 2778cc manual transmission models only as supplied, however this kit may fit automatic transmissions with some recalibration. If you want to try different size idle jets for this purpose (automatic gearbox applications) the idle jet sizes are all available here and the carburettors will come with size 60 for primary barrel, and size 50 for secondary barrel, one each side. So, with this info, if you want, you can try a few sizes up or down in an effort to refine the calibration , to suit the characteristics of your automatic transmission model.  This is not instructions, this is only suggestion.

Please note: you do not need to order any additional jets at all, if your Mercedes is fitted with a manual gearbox. Also, if your Mercedes is fitted with an automatic transmission, it might work beautifully with the standard calibration, but we have not tested this, hence why we suggest extra spare jets, incase you want to try it.

Note: A Fuel pressure regulator may be required to reduce pressure supplied by the standard pump. The weber carburettors need 2-3 psi fuel pressure, and no more.
