A Weber carburettor Conversion Adapter kit.

To replace a single choke downdraft carburettor

Suitable for those of you who have a single-choke carburettor, and would like a taste of a twinchoke or progressive WEBER Carburettor!

This adapter, bolts on between your existing inlet manifold and the new twin weber carburettor that you might not have yet! But you really want to.. : )

No need to disturb or remove your inlet manifold. Just remove your old carburettor, fit the adapter plate kit on your manifold, and then sit your new twin or progressive weber carburettor on the adaptor plate!

This kit allows you to fit a choice of the following WEBER carburettors on to your motor.

10mm / 3/8 brass take off plus blanking plug if not needed

Square base mounting flange allows the carburettor to be mounted in the correct orientation with the fuel inlet

pointing forward.

The dimensions of the inlet manifold mounting flange are shown in the last photo.

The rectangular side of the adapter, will accept carburettors that have approximate mounting stud centre-to-centre dimension of 93x46mm (holes are elongated to allow some variation in dimensions).

The idea is that you screw your carburettor on to the rectangular side of the adaptor (With 1 of the supplied gaskets between them) and then screw the other side of the adaptor to your inlet manifold (with square gasket between them).

The square/diamond side of the adaptor is designed like this so that you have optional two ways you can fit your carburettor on the manifold.

We recommend that you install this adaptor on to your manifold so that the weber carburettor’s float chamber faces the front of your vehicle.

There are two rectangular carburettor mounting gaskets in the kit. One for 32/36 DGV/DGAV etc..  and one for 38/38 DGMS/DGAS weber etc.. You will only use one of these gaskets , not both.

Also, the studs in the kit are for securing the adaptor to your inlet manifold (You might only need 2 of these and not all 4 supplied in the kit.

The brass union is for optional brake servo vacuum etc.. but the kit is supplied with a blanking plug if you do not need this feature.
